American Faith is a response to the current political and social climate we find ourselves in as a people. Most Americans desire the return of the values that shaped our nation. If you long to reestablish the American ideal, then you will love American Faith and the inspiring Faith articles we bring to the table.
We are a Faith coalition that sponsors events that will inspire you and will provide resources that will help you make informed decisions that are critical at this time. It’s also crucial for you to know why these things are happening. The lawlessness and pandemic both have spiritual implications. We provide insights, online sermons and examples as to how the headlines relate to scripture.
American Faith is a coalition of Faith-based individuals in the United States focused on educating and empowering people to understand and exercise their constitutional rights with powerful Faith articles. Patriotism is one of those words that elicits many things in the heart of an American. If you are like most people who love their country, you have a sense of pride and devotion that you feel every time you salute the flag or sing the Star-Spangled Banner.
As citizens of America, we know how different we are from the rest of the world. Our nation was shaped by those who were fleeing the religious oppression found in other countries. The diversity we enjoy brings a productive environment for innovation and creativity. As early as 1776, the phrase E Pluribus Unum “Out of Many, One” was used on the Great Seal of America.
American’s faith is that God is the bedrock of our social and political system. It is clear that the Judeo-Christian faith shaped that way of life and provides hope. Virtually all of our founding fathers understood this truth. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution both reflect a rich religious heritage. The motto of the United States of America, “In God we trust,” was signed into law in 1956. At that time in American history, the phrase did not attract much controversy; however, it was challenged in 1970 but found not to violate the First Amendment.
America began as a grand experiment for the Republic’s newfound freedom and opportunity to thrive as others had not done before. For nearly 250 years, we have weathered the storms of war, slavery, prosperity, poverty, abortion, socialism and communism, and sexism.
The Republic deserves our best – will you join me and our Faith coalition in securing a great future?
